Southern Secrets Hiking and Backpacking specialises in tailor-made mountain wilderness hiking and wildflower and nature trips in South Africa’s Drakensberg Mountains – and cross-cultural hikes, trekking and pony trekking adventures in Lesotho’s Maluti Mountains. We will listen carefully to what you want, and you will receive personal replies to all your questions and enquiries You will not be mixed with other groups and individuals unless by special request. We design our trips around you and your group’s aspirations, interests and fitness levels. We design an itinerary for you, we don’t fit you into an itinerary – so you get exactly what you want. As far as possible, we will guide you into places uncompromised by tourism. We operate in any area of the Drakensberg and Lesotho, but mainly from the towns of Underberg and Himeville near the famous Sani Pass in the Southern KwaZulu-Natal Drakensberg.
